Terms of service

By purchasing and using Quitly, you agree to the following terms.

License. Quitly is licensed, not sold, for your personal, non-commercial use on Macs you own or control. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app.

System requirements. Quitly requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later, and requires Accessibility permission (System Settings → Privacy & Security) to function — it uses this only to detect when a window closes in another app, and does not

collect or transmit this data anywhere.

Notarization. Quitly is an independently distributed app and is not notarized through Apple's Developer Program. macOS will show a Gatekeeper warning on first launch; instructions for proceeding (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open

Anyway) are provided on first launch and on the product page.

No warranty. Quitly is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability. Quitly's core function is to automatically quit other applications. While it includes a grace period and a user-configurable exceptions list to reduce accidental quits, you are responsible for saving your work in

other applications. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any data loss, damages, or issues arising from use of Quitly, including apps quit unexpectedly.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Romania.
